Solar Carport, Het Rond Shopping Center
At the Het Rond shopping center in Houten, Solarparking is busy constructing and installing a new solar carport. The Sunpark canopy, along with the solar panels and substructure, has been finished in black. This gives the carport a luxurious appearance that fits beautifully with the location.
The roof of the canopy has been constructed with 816 solar panels of 540 Wp. In doing so, Altera Vastgoed N.V. has taken an important step in making the shopping center more sustainable. The cars remain dry and well protected from the elements, and the black design also inspires us in further enhancing building-integrated PV projects.
